  1. To celebrate 20th Anniversary of Mandarin Ministry, we are in the process of collecting commemorative photos, text messages, audios, videos with blessings and encouragements. Ongoing collection from June to Sept, with deadline on each month end. Contact: Leon Li
  2. A team is clearing unwanted items from the church. Department and fellowship leaders – please check and clean your belongings before 7/30.

Church cleanup process:

1) Remove any unsafe equipment/objects

2) All rooms in the church will be processed one by one

3) Each room includes (pastoral and admin office)

Just take out the discarded items and put them in the box set up next to it (with instructions)

Prayer-Gospel-Mission-Bible-Caring

  1. In-Person English Ministries Prayer Time on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. to pray for English Adult Fellowships, please come in through the gym entrance
  2. Happy Friday: Ping Pong group will be paused during June to August. Enquiry
  3. 8/11-15 (Mon-Fri. 9a-3p) Soccer Day Camp for ages 6-12. Please see the poster for details. Use the postcards to encourage children from non-believer families to join in. Online Registration has started. First come, first serve

  1. New Sermon Series for 5/25 – 6/29

For the first part of this year we have been exploring the first two statements in the annual theme for our church: Reviving and Rebuilding. In the coming weeks, as we prepare to go on a missions trip to Casa de Luz in Mexico and run our Summer Soccer Camp, we will begin looking at what it means, and what it might look like in our personal lives as well as a church, to begin Reaching Out. The title of the series is People of the Open Door and we will be exploring the themes presented in a book by John Ortberg, All the Places to Go, both in our worship service as well as our adult Sunday School.

  1. 7/5-12 17 members will join the Casa de Luz Missions Trip. Please pray for the preparation.
  2. For those who want to serve in the STEM Program in September, there is a one-day training scheduled for Saturday, June 14, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For registration, please check the registration link here.
  3. 6/22(Sun, 3-5:30pm) English Plan to Protect Training ˉ Orientation on Zoom. No Chinese Training this year. It is MANDATORY for all senior, children and youth workers to attend once a year. New volunteers are recommended to join this orientation training. Register before June 8 with Miranda Fong & Angel Lee : . If you want to join the group Zoom training in room A10, please let Miranda or Angel know.
  4. 2025 First Aider Roster is on the Admin board upstairs and downstairs. There will be no in-house group training this year. If any church volunteer need to be trained, contact before registration
  5. 7/19 Church Picnic @ Mundy Park in Coquitlam, please register to get the meal coupon from 6/15. Limited meal coupon available, first come first serve. Registration fee per person after subsidized by the church: free for age 4 and under; $5 for age 5-12, 70 and over; $10 for age 13-19; $15 for age 20-69. Free for church gatherings’ new comers of Jan. ˉ July or new non-Christian friends with registration.
    • If you prefer to bring your own food, you are also welcome to join.
    • We booked a school bus (10:15am leaving the church; 3:30pm leaving the park). Bus fee per person after subsidy is $10. First come first serve.
